Almost every culture in the world has an event or marker that identifies when a child becomes an adult; except North America. "Coming of age" ceremonies are one of many rites of passage that have been significant throughout human history. The ceremony celebrates the life of a child as they enter adulthood with the support and affirmation of their tribe - parents, siblings, extended family members, friends, and other significant adults.

Celebrating Adolescent Life exists to assist families celebrate and navigate their children's transition into early adolescence through a coming-of-age ceremonies and practical resources.
